Governmental Affairs Program

NRHA’s Governmental Affairs Program informs retailers about federal legislative developments that directly affect their businesses and helps them deal with federal regulations. A Legislative Committee consisting of the president and executive vice president of NRHA and retailers dedicated to supporting NRHA’s governmental efforts offers guidance on issues of major importance.

New in 2009 is a series of live Webinars on how to deal with new federal regulations.

News from Washington, Washington Report, the Quarterly Legislative Update, Washington Info Alerts and Federal Laws & Regulations are available online as is a list of information sources, a guide to the federal legislative and regulatory process and an outline on how to get involved in legislative matters.
